Sciato is a powerful Montepulciano d'Abruzzo of deep red colour, produced in perfect harmony, embodying the typical essence of a wine of its kind: Tanin, elegant, tasty, balanced, powerful with a long and persistent aftertaste. The bouquet is rich in red fruits, tobacco and black pepper, with a slight hint of paprika at the end, reflecting the area where it comes from. On the palate, it starts out rough, but then proves to be very elegant and well balanced. Excellent with pasta, sausage and broccoli, roasts, truffles, lamb, spit-roast, mature cheese and ham. The wines of the Thomas Masciantonio winery are the result of a unique combination of factors arising from the nature of the Caprafico plateau, which the Masciantonio family has owned since the nineteenth century.

Rund, samtig, auswogen - Perfekt!
Der Sciato ist bei uns immer vorrätig. Er ist der perfekte Allrounder.
Herrlich kräftiger, aber ausgewogener Geschmack, trocken, nicht zu viel Säure, dabei samtig und weich.
Er kommt auch bei unseren Gästen gut an, so dass ich diesen schon oft auch verschenkt habe.
Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
